ABOUT US Italian leather craftsmanship straight from Tuscany. Old Angler Leather S.r.l. is a family run artisan leather factory founded in 1990 by experienced leather craftsman Luciano Lucenti, his daughter Elisabetta Lucenti and her husband Mario Bartolini. Our roots date back to 1957 when Luciano Lucenti started the leather factory Artigiano Pellettiere in the center of Florence.  After the historic Florence flood of 1966, the factory was moved to Pontassieve where it remains today.
	All of our Florentine leather briefcases, travel bags, handbags and accessories are handmade from full grain, vegetable tanned leather.  Each product is truly exclusive and unique thanks to the great amount of attention that goes into every detail of the manufacturing process from the selection of materials  to artisan craftsmanship.
	At Old Angler we strive to exceed all quality standards; in October 1998, we were one of the first Italian leather factories to obtain the Quality System Certificate ISO 9001 from the Institute for Quality Certification for the leather industry (ICEC). Today, we continue to maintain these quality standards and take great pride in providing nothing but the best service and assistance to clients.
